Bought online too. Same issues faced with Purple corset, except this one had an additional problem for me. The bust was too large.
The laced-up back is adjustable (additional 2-3 inches to smallest size). The material is thick cotton, meaning there's no stretch to it. Without boning.
Wear it with jeans for a night out of throw on a blazer for the boardroom. Versatile and sophisticated, this one is worth the buy!
